A Year Abroad in Russia

The idea of this site is to provide information for students planning their year abroad in Russia. The year abroad is a daunting idea to begin with, and many students feel that they are not given enough information before leaving. This site aims to tell you most of what you need to know by drawing on students' experiences of a year in different parts of Russia, and Russian-speaking countries. As one student said, 'Russia's always going to be a bit of a learn as you go along experience' but I hope the information, links, addresses and ideas on this site prove useful.
