Current Writing in German The Goethe Institute's literature portal with links to activities and initiatives that promote and support German literature in the United States

The Goethe-Institut London has just launched an English-language version of the internet project: Text and the City - a literary map of Germany. This provides a selection of excerpts from both contemporary and well-established writers, the website conveys insights into the character of fourteen German towns and cities. Many of the English translations have been commissioned exclusively for this website where they will appear for the first time, and can be viewed together with all the corresponding German texts.
