Introduction
Welcome to the research community of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages. These pages provide general information for the guidance of all PhD students. They should be consulted in conjunction with the more formal information provided by the Board of Graduate Studies at: Code of Practice. The research community in the Faculty at present consists of approximately 115 senior members (Professors, Readers, Lecturers etc.), and approximately 150 research students working for the PhD, or MPhil courses. We occasionally have students registered for the MLitt degree.
