The conference will be held in the Howard Building at Downing College, situated on Regent Street. Downing is close to both the city centre and many University Departments and the open landscape has a superb collection of neo-classical buildings from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Registration

Registration will take place on the morning of 26th January between 8.15 and 9.00. The registration fee is �6.

Travel

Cambridge is located just 60 miles (approximately 100km) north of London. The nearest airport is London Stansted, which is 50 minutes away by bus and roughly 45 minutes by train, with hourly connections available from the airport terminal. The city is also well connected to Heathrow airport: information on bus schedules can be found on the National Express website (http://www.nationalexpress.com) and there is also a convenient rail-link via London Kings Cross station. Heathrow is connected to Kings Cross via the Piccadilly Underground Line and Cambridge Cruiser trains run between Kings Cross and Cambridge at half-hourly intervals (journey time approximately 45 minutes).
