Foreign Language Spelling Bee

The national final of the Foreign Language Spelling Bee for UK secondary schools took place at Anglia Ruskin on 1st July. The event was organised by Sarah Schechter as part of the Routes into Languages project, which MML is involved in.

There were 77,000 entries nationally, and over 100 students took part in the final. Christophe Gagne (French Department) was one of the judges for the French part of the competition.

Prizes, food and refreshments were funded by the EU commission.
