Cambridge Polish Studies Premieres ‘Kinoteka’

On Wednesday, 3 December, the Department’s Polish Studies programme launched its Polish Film Club — ‘Kinoteka’ — with a screening of an atmospheric thriller set during the communist era, The Dark House (Dom Zły, directed by Wojciech Smarzowski, 2009). Over 50 attendees enjoyed the film at Sidney Sussex College. Stanley Bill, the Department’s new Lecturer in Polish Studies, introduced the work.
