Angeles Carreres's interests lie in the fields of translation studies and language teaching. Her research
focuses on the impact of post-structuralist theory, in particular deconstruction, on current thinking on translation. She
is the author of
Cruzando límites: la retórica de la traducción en Jacques Derrida (Peter Lang, 2005). As a consultant
author for the Open University Spanish programme, she is co-author of a language coursebook and co-editor of a reader
for advanced students. Angeles is currently working on the development of web-based teaching resources.
