Erasmus

David Bailey, Tagus Bridge

Erasmus is the European Union's flagship educational exchange programme for Higher Education students, teachers and institutions. It was introduced with the aim of increasing student mobility within Europe.

The EU referendum result does not affect students currently studying in the EU, current beneficiaries of Erasmus funding or those considering applying for Erasmus funding in 2017. The UK's future access to the Erasmus programme will be determined as part of wider discussions with the EU. The Faculty will keep the situation under review and this web page will be updated as and when new information is released.

More broadly, existing UK students studying in the EU, and those looking to start in the next academic year, will continue to be subject to current arrangements. Please see: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/statement-on-higher-education-and-research-following-the-eu-referendum

The Erasmus grant for Cambridge students is administered by the International Student Team.
