Alina is the MMLL Library Assistant and is usually found at the information desk when the Library is open. She is the team’s social media administrator and takes care of the Library’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts together with her colleagues, as well as ensuring that the Library website is up to date.

Alina has previously worked in the UL’s Collection Logistics team, doing behind-the-scenes work to free up space in various libraries and make collections available to readers. She is also doing work on accessibility, inclusion and wellbeing, so she is interested in hearing any suggestions on how to make the Library space and services easier to use for students and staff!

While not at work, Alina spends her time reading, baking, and organising story nights for her friends. She also enjoys talking about obscure sea creatures, space exploration, and any aspect of language and linguistics.
