Computational Linguistics

Convenor: Dr Anna Korhonen

The Computational Linguistics seminar in Lent term is taught by Dr Anna Korhonen. The seminar covers advanced topics in Computational Linguistics. Individual seminar topics will be selected in response to recent research developments and in consultation with members of the class. The course will be organised as a reading group. Most sessions will consist of general introduction followed by an in-depth examination of some particular piece of research described in one or more papers. Readings are typically brief research articles, and will be made available in advance. Each student will select one or two to summarise to the rest of the class. There is no mathematical prerequisite for the course but students following this seminar should ideally also attend Li18 (Computational Linguistics).
