Professor Kasia Jaszczolt

Kasia's research interests include the representation of discourse, semantic ambiguities, semantics/pragmatics interface, saying/implicating distinction, semantic representation of time and propositional attitude constructions, including attitudes de se. She is the author of a theory of discourse interpretation called Default Semantics.

Dr. Minyao Huang

Minyao's research interests lie in semantics, pragmatics, philosophy of language and cognitive science. She has worked on indexicality, the semantics/pragmatics interface, and vagueness, especially the manifestation of tolerance and indeterminacy in categorisation experiments. Currently she is working on self-reference from a cognitive and cross-linguistic perspective.

Rodanthi Christofaki

Rodanthi's research interests focus on the semantics/pragmatics interface, philosophy of language, cognitive linguistics, the relation between potential cognitive universals and sociocultural factors, and the effect of social context and honorifics on self-expression and self-reference particularly in Japanese as well as cross-linguistically.
