Sophie Mayer

Dr. Sophie Mayer is the author of The Cinema of Sally Potter: A Politics of Love (2009) and Political Animals: The New Feminist Cinema (2015). Her critical and curatorial work focuses on feminist, LGBTQIA and indigenous filmmaking, with particular interests outside conventional narrative, in experimenta, filmpoetry, documentary, seriality, and transmedia, concerns she tries to address for a wider audience as a regular contributor to Sight & Sound and The F-Word.
