Cambridge Celebrates Teaching with the Pilkington Prize

Dr Martin Ruehl Won 2017 Pilkington Prize for Excellence in Teaching

We're very pleased to share this video celebrating Dr Martin Ruehl's Pilkington Prize.

Each year the Pilkington Prize is awarded to teachers from across the University who have made a substantial contribution to the teaching programme of their Department, Faculty or the University as a whole. This year, Dr Ruehl joined 12 others to receive this distinction.

Professor Sarah Colvin, head of the Department of German and Dutch, said of the award, "Martin is both a brilliant thinker and a genuinely dedicated teacher - that is an inspiring combination of qualities, and I'm delighted that he has been awarded a Pilkington Prize."
