Spanish Ambassador to the UK hosted in Cambridge by MMLL

The Spanish and Portuguese Section had the pleasure of hosting a visit by the Spanish Ambassador to the UK, his Excellency José Pascual Marco Martínez, in the afternoon of Monday 13 March. The Ambassador, who has been in post since September 2021, was in Cambridge for three days meeting with various members of the University and getting acquainted with a number of research networks with a connection to Spain.

Victoria Adams awarded AHGBI Publication Prize 22-23

The Spanish and Portuguese Section are delighted to extend congratulations to Victoria Adams, who has been chosen by the Editorial Committee of the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland as one of the prize winners of the AHGBI Publication Prize for 2022-2023.
