Research:
Nick completed his PhD in Slavonic Studies at the University of Cambridge in 2018. He now works as a lecturer and research scholar at Stanford University. He is working on a monograph based on his doctoral research, entitled “Queer Traditions in the Russian Orthodox Church”. The book reassesses Russian Orthodox history from a queer perspective, offering a fresh look at church rites, saints’ lives and canon law.
