Student-Led Teaching Awards 2019

MML teaching staff recognized at the 2019 Student-Led Teaching Awards

 

The care and talent of staff at the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages has been recognized in a shortlist nominated by students across the University. The strength of the Faculty’s teaching and support and the enthusiasm of our undergraduate and post-graduate students was recognised in the awards, with five Faculty making the shortlist and one going on to win a category nomination.

Congratulations to Jasmine Cooper (MML Supervisor, Newnham College), winner in the Inclusive Practice category! 

Happy to share also that Dr Isabelle McNeill, affiliated Lecturer in French, was commended in the category of Undergraduate Supervisor in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Finally, we are also proud to announce that Dr Hugues Azérad, Senior Language Teaching Officer in French, Dr Maite Conde, Lecturer in Brazilian Studies, Dr Ian James, Reader in Modern French Literature and Thought and Laura McMahon, Lecturer in Film and Screen Studies, were all recognized in the categories of Undergraduate supervisor, Post-graduate Supervisor, Inclusive Practice and Undergraduate Supervisor, respectively.
