General information

Students of all nationalities are eligible for Erasmus work and study places, and can receive the Erasmus grant. Students who receive the Cambridge Bursary may continue to receive it even if they have an Erasmus grant, though the grant must be declared as 'other income'.

All British Council Assistantships within the EU are eligible for Erasmus.

Cambridge has Erasmus links with many universities throughout Europe. Study under the Erasmus scheme is only possible with universities with whom we have an agreement (list of Erasmus places).

It is possible to undertake an Erasmus traineeship (work placement) as long as your prospective year abroad employer is willing to sign an Erasmus Learning Agreement for Traineeships.
