Ellamae Lepper, one of our current PhD students in French, was awarded the Society of Dix-Neuviémistes' Postgraduate Prize. The Society of Dix-Neuviémistes (SDN) Postgraduate Prize is awarded for the best postgraduate conference paper submitted for the Society’s Annual Conference. Her paper was titled 'Veiling and Unveiling Violence: What the Salon Obscures in Balzac’s Autre étude de femme'. Huge congratulations to Ellamae and to her supervisor Claire White!
